How to uninstall WIWIClean

Updated: September 14, 2026

A complete uninstall takes a couple of minutes. Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription — if you have one, start with step 1.

1. Cancel your subscription

If you have WIWIClean Pro, cancel renewal via the link in your Lemon Squeezy email or write to support@wiwiclean.com. A lifetime purchase needs no cancellation.

2. Turn off the helper

Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions. Under "Allow in the Background", turn off WIWIClean.

3. Delete the app

Quit WIWIClean (⌘Q) and drag WIWIClean from the Applications folder to the Trash.

4. Delete leftover files

In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder… and delete these, one by one, if they exist:

Or run a single command in Terminal:

rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Sweep" "$HOME/Library/Preferences/dev.sweep.app.plist" "$HOME/Library/Caches/dev.sweep.app" "$HOME/Library/HTTPStorages/dev.sweep.app" "$HOME/Library/Saved Application State/dev.sweep.app.savedState"

5. Remove disk access permission

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access. Select WIWIClean and click "−".

6. Empty the Trash

Done — no WIWIClean files are left on your Mac. If something went wrong, write to support@wiwiclean.com.
